The Basic Life Support and AED course trains participants to:

  • Promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies
  • Give high-quality chest compressions
  • Deliver appropriate ventilations
  • Provide early use of an AED


Students work with an approved BLS Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing. There is also an open book multiple choice exam.
